The Angel of Fatima (1916)

Before the famous Marian apparitions at Fatima, three shepherd children reported visits from an angel who identified himself as the "Angel of Peace" and the "Angel of Portugal." The angel appeared three times in 1916, teaching the children prayers and giving them Holy Communion. While only the three children saw the angel, the subsequent Miracle of the Sun in 1917 was witnessed by approximately 70,000 people.

Angels at Lourdes

Saint Bernadette Soubirous described angelic presences during her visions at Lourdes. The spring she was directed to uncover continues to flow today, and the water has been associated with 70 medically verified miraculous healings.

Guardian Angel Accounts

The Catholic tradition of guardian angels is supported by centuries of documented accounts from saints and ordinary believers. While individual accounts are difficult to verify, the sheer volume and consistency of these reports across cultures, centuries, and continents forms a pattern worth examining.
