Miracle of Sokolka

Sokolka, Poland

Blood Type: Not disclosedMyocardium intertwined with bread

The Miracle

A consecrated Host that had fallen was placed in water per protocol. When checked later, a red substance had appeared on the Host.

Scientific Findings

Two independent pathomorphologists from the Medical University of Bialystok identified the tissue as myocardial (heart muscle) tissue. The tissue fibers were intertwined with the bread fibers in a way that could not be reproduced artificially.

My visit to Miracle of Sokolka

I visited the site of the Miracle of Sokolka miracle in Sokolka with some skepticism, I will admit. But seeing the preserved evidence up close, and reading the scientific analyses, gave me a lot to think about. The church itself is peaceful and well maintained.

My visit to Miracle of Sokolka

My visit to the Miracle of Sokolka miracle site in Sokolka was part of a larger pilgrimage through Poland. Of all the places I visited, this one left the deepest impression. The evidence is right there, preserved for anyone willing to look.
