History
Maria Esperanza, a Venezuelan mystic, first received apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary on March 25, 1976, at a farm called Finca Betania. The apparitions continued for 15 years through January 1990, totaling 31 appearances. The most remarkable event occurred on March 25, 1984, when over 100 people claimed to simultaneously witness the Virgin Mary appearing above a grotto at the farm.
